After several years away, Leo returns to save his brother and, on kidnapping him from hospital, returns back to Eric's dingy flat. It is there that Leo discovers Eric's deranged and confusing research that eventually leads to the understanding that Eric is able to telepathically communicate with him.
In hearing him out, though, Leo discovers that something else has control of Eric's body... something alien. It has seen the human race and is disappointed in its inability to connect with the world around it. Now, Leo is assigned to do something about it...
