James Button is always making nonsense. Always writing, directing and often accidentally starring in over dozens of comedy shorts. He's bathed with goats, crossbow-ed a Mormon or two, shouted at a house as an old Welshman , nearly lost his best friend Oscar Gerf in real life on two road-trips across America and there's plenty more where that came from. Double BAFTA Cymru nominated filmmaker with forty odd awards for his shorts, James is looking for an opportunity to make his debut comedy feature script (and it's the craziest one yet).

Paying In Advance

Once an engineer was driving in a ranch and killed a calf that was crossing the road. The driver went to the owner of the calf and explained what had happened. He then asked what the animal was worth.

“Oh, about $200 today,” said the redneck. “But in six years it would have been worth $900. So $900 is what I’m out.”

Engineer sat down and wrote out a check and handed it to the redneck.

“Here,” he said, “is the check for $900. It’s postdated six years from now.”
