Chances are that you haven’t heard of TROMOX’s electric motorcycle referred to as MINO. This small but mighty electric motorcycle is unique to other bikes on the market. The TROMOX MINO is getting ready to expand its distribution across Europe and the United States. While they are designed for urban rides, they are built using traditional motorcycle frames to provide a fun and unique riding experience. Now that TROMOX has secured distributors across the globe, the interest in these mini electric motorcycles is going to go through the roof!
The Battery
The MINO may be small but its lightweight aluminum frame packs a mighty punch. It is powered by a high capacity automotive battery – a standard 18650 high-density cell battery that makes city riding a breeze. The aluminum case surrounding the battery ensures that it is safe from water damage, and the battery is proven to have a long-life cycle – after 600 charge and discharge cycles, the performance still tops 80%. The battery is also optimized for overcharge protection, short-circuit protection, over-current protection, and over-discharge protection.
The Motor
It only takes this little guy 10 seconds to get from 0 to 100 meters. The motor is strategically placed in the center of the bike to generate both power and balance, leading to an optimally performing ride on both flat roads and slopes. The energy efficiency conversion rate reaches up to 96%, and the bike can easily climb up a 15-degree slope.
The Power System
The MINO is powered by a 2.5 kW mid-positioned motor. Its central control system consists of over twenty sensors. There’s a cloud-based communication platform between the bike and the included mobile app. MINO is essentially a smart bike. The control system enables the bike to increase its power output by 16%. The highly specific control program and the bike’s entire power system have been comprehensively upgraded for the new model.
The App and the Smart Dashboard
Possibly the most stand out feature of this vehicle is the accompanying mobile app and the smart dashboard. With the TROMOX app, you will receive detailed information regarding the condition of the battery and other figures related to the bike, such as mileage, an alarm system, and whether the bike is powered up or off.

The smart dashboard offers dynamic integration between the vehicle and the driver. The dash includes full-color symbols to keep the driver alert and is also waterproof and dustproof. This ensures that the dashboard is always in good working condition and is never affected by weather conditions. The cold light LCD screen provides a sharp image.
How to purchase
You can book a test drive and inquire about the price of a TROMOX MINO via their official website. Currently, it seems like the company is securing a network of dealers that conduct in-person sales at a regional level rather than mass sales through their website
Startup
A startup or start-up is a company or project undertaken by an entrepreneur to seek, develop, and validate a scalable business model. While entrepreneurship refers to all new businesses, including self-employment and businesses that never intend to become registered, startups refer to new businesses that intend to grow large beyond the solo founder. At the beginning, startups face high uncertainty and have high rates of failure, but a minority of them do go on to be successful and influential. Some startups become unicorns; that is privately held startup companies valued at over US$1 billion.
Actions
Startups typically begin by a founder (solo-founder) or co-founders who have a way to solve a problem. The founder of a startup will begin market validation by problem interview, solution interview, and building a minimum viable product (MVP), i.e. a prototype, to develop and validate their business models. The startup process can take a long period of time (by some estimates, three years or longer), and hence sustaining effort is required. Over the long term, sustaining effort is especially challenging because of the high failure rates and uncertain outcomes. Having a business plan in place outlines what to do and how to plan and achieve an idea in the future. Typically, these plans outline the first 3 to 5 years of your business strategy.
Design principles
Models behind startups presenting as ventures are usually associated with design science. Design science uses design principles considered to be a coherent set of normative ideas and propositions to design and construct the company's backbone. For example, one of the initial design principles is "affordable loss".
