Forse ti sarai chiesto perché quasi tutte le moto hanno lo scarico posizionato a destra e non a sinistra? Non è un vincolo di design in quanto tale e puoi avere anche il silenziatore a sinistra. Ma potrebbero esserci molte ragioni altrimenti. Discuteremo queste ragioni in questo articolo.

I produttori si sono semplicemente attenuti al design implementato sulle primissime motociclette monocilindriche a combustione interna. La prima moto senza pedale aveva lo scarico sul lato destro. Da allora i produttori hanno deciso di montare lo scarico sul lato destro della moto.

Oltre a questo, altri motivi che è importante considerare sono i seguenti:

1. I gas di scarico sarebbero un po' più lontani dai marciapiedi pedonali a sinistra.
2. Molte donne e anziani si siedono di lato ed è molto più sicuro sbarcare a sinistra. Il silenziatore a destra aiuta in questo.
3. Di solito, c'è un pignone della catena sul lato sinistro e avere il silenziatore sulla destra bilancia la massa in una certa misura.
4. Il modo in cui impariamo ad andare in bicicletta, di solito il piede sinistro si stacca per primo dal poggiapiedi quando stiamo frenando fino a fermarci. Avere il silenziatore a destra riduce al minimo il rischio che il piede si avvicini ai tubi di scarico caldi.

• 1. The exhaust fumes would be a little farther from the pedestrain walking sidewalks on the left.
• 2. Lot of women and old people sit sideways and it is much more safer to disembark them to the left. Silencer to the right helps with that.
• 3. Usually, there's a chain sprocket on the left side and having the silencer on the right balances the mass to some extent.
• 4. The way we learn to ride a bike, usually the left foot comes off the foot rest first when we are braking to a stop. Having the silencer to the right minimizes the risk of the foot coming in the proximity to the hot exhaust pipes.

But,it need not to be necessarily on right . Sports bikes have both sides , some have under the seat. But in general the exhaust is placed on the right side for above reasons
